Strengthening of the South American AEC Team

2 de December de 2014

AEC core trading regions have been, and still are, North America and South America, where the company holds strong ties to the local important exporters and importers. AEC forward cargo book is usually mainly based on these continents.

To strengthen the AEC team and to comply with customers demand for AEC freight services, agreements has been made with Mr. Anderson Luis da Silva and Mr. Jose Cavalieri to join.

Mr. Anderson Luiz da Silva has previously worked for Clipper Shipping, Armada Shipping and Copenship in Sao Paulo and has via his previous jobs worked directly together with several individuals forming part of the current AEC team.

‘It is with great pleasure that we welcome Anderson to our Group. I have had the honor of working closely together with him in the past, so I’m confident he will add significant value as he joins us with a wealth of South American Chartering experience’ say Mr. Lars-Peter Madsen – CEO.

Da Silva will start 1st of February 2015 and has been nominated Chartering Manager of South America.

Mr. Jose Cavalieri has previously worked for Steinweg and Copenship, Sao Paulo and will work in the Operations Department as from 8th of December 2014.

‘We welcome a young, smart and well educated man like Jose and are positive that he will enhance our services towards our clients’ says Mr. Peter J. Pecry – Head of Operations.

Quality AEC Fleet Management

21 de November de 2014

AEC has since it’s inception had a very close relationship with Messrs Seaquest and Seaflag, being AEC’s Technical Managers and New Building Supervisors. Despite of the outsourcing of the technical side, working with Seaquest has been like working closely with an internal Technical Department.

The fleet vessel, MV AEC Belief 33,540 dwat box shaped/open Hatch Built 2004, is up for Drydocking and Special Survey and has been fixed for the last voyage before Drydocking. This week the vessel had a Port State Control visit in Brazil and passed without any deficiencies. Furthermore the vessel has not had any off-hire days since it was delivered to AEC back in August 2013.

This kind of quality Ship owning is what we all work so hard every day to achieve, so there are good reasons to be proud.

Thomas P. Mayr – S & P and Peter  J. Pecry – Head of Operations
