AEC active in Iskenderun

While the long running AEC period charter vessel MV Four Aida was discharging scrap in Iskenderun between the 13th and the 16th of January 2014 the newly chartered long term period vessel MV Ephesus arrived to load Steel Products for Asia. Both vessels sailed 16th January 2014, with the Four Aida already being scheduled to return in February 2014.

AEC add medium term Time Charter vessel to the fleet

The 1993 built 26,446 mt dwat Japanese bulk Bulk Carrier, MV Falcon Trader, will be added to AEC’s fleet under a medium term Charter Party. The vessel is expected to deliver in South America during January 2014.

AEC add new long term Time Charter vessel to the fleet

The 2010 built 32,047 mt dwat Japanese built Bulk Carrier, MV Ephesus, has been added to AEC’s fleet under a long term Time Charter. The vessel delivered in Alexandria on the 11th of January 2014.

AEC is acquiring a 32,500 dwat Japanese built Handysize Logger/Bulk Carrier with expected delivery/take over during February 2014.

‘This acquisition will complete our 2013 investment strategy which is very satisfactory. The vessel is Japanese built and in great condition.’ says Mr. Thomas Mayr head of AEC’s S & P department.

‘Our team and our investors have performed as a clockwork, which have given us the possibility to get the timing right and create a great base for AEC for coming years’ says CFO Eduardo de Paiva Sa Freitas.
