Addition to AEC’s Operations Team

AEC has engaged Mr. Vaibhav Mehta (Vic) as Operator.

Mr. Mehta comes with a years of experience with Drycargo operational work from one of the worlds largests shipowner/operator NYK (Nippon Yusen Kaisha) and will work from AEC’s Bahamas office.

“We are pleased with the addition to our Operations team which goes hand in hand with AEC’s general activity expansion”, says CEO Lars-Peter Madsen. “Vic is adding further knowledge and experience to our company as a whole but is also expected to provide the internal synergies we are aiming for.”

AEC finish the year of 2012 with high activity

AEC ended 2012 on a ‘busy note’ shipping Corn Argentina/Morocco, Agriproducts Argentina/Peru, Grains Black Sea/Spain, various wheat shipments Argentina/Brazil, Byproducts Miss River/Turkey, Time Charter Mediterranean/India etc.

AEC has obtained the further expected solid foothold in the Drybulk market via the vast experience contained in the company and the worldwide industry network. 2013 will be an interesting year where the volume is expected to increase considerably and where there will be sharp focus on possible mergers and/or acquisitions.

We wish all our clients, brokers, suppliers and supporting Ship Owners a prosperous 2013 and look forward to continue the great working relationships.

Lars-Peter Madsen – CEO
