As is customary the logs were secured with chains and other lashing materials, and of course with the collapsible stanchions all raised to hold the logs in. Turnbuckles were fitted on the top allowing the crew to tighten the lashing materials during the voyage. The cargo was loaded at various ports in South America.

Aluminum ingots is non-ferrous product that is produced by pouring molten aluminum into special molds. These molds come in a variety of sizes and shapes, and the ingots created by this variety have different types in appearance.

The process of ingots production is done with high-tech equipment. The melt is purified, which excludes the presence of slag formations in the finished ingot, resulting in high quality products. The weights of produced ingot are normally between 7.5-8.5 kg. 

Aluminum Ingots or aluminum alloy are used in the production of everything from hexagon drives to pipes, sheets and other rolled products. Rolled metal is normally used for the manufacturing of building structures, building materials etc.
