AEC’s fleet vessel MV Daiwan Wisdom (31,833DWT) discharging logs at Kandla, India.

As is customary the logs were secured with chains and other lashing materials, and of course with the collapsible stanchions all raised to hold the logs in. Turnbuckles were fitted on the top allowing the crew to tighten the lashing materials during the voyage. The cargo was loaded at various ports in South America.
